PARISI CAFÉ SERVES FREE COFFEE IN HONOR OF NATIONAL COFFEE DAY

Kansas Citians are invited to recharge… for free in celebration of National Coffee Day. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, September 28 Parisi Café at Kansas City’s Union Station is offering a free cup of coffee in celebration of an annual coffee holiday.

For those seeking a specialty item in honor of National Coffee Day (which is officially Saturday, September 29) Parisi Café is offering $1 off all barista-prepared medium/large coffee and espresso-based drinks all day. No coupon necessary, however guests must mention National Coffee Day to receive the discount.

The local artisan coffee roaster opened its first café inside Union Station’s Grand Hall one year ago. For the past six years, the company has sold 100-percent Arabica bean, drum-roasted coffee in local grocery stores, as well as custom blends for a number of well-known area restaurants.

This is the first retail location for Parisi Coffee with a second location scheduled to open in late fall in Leawood at Park Place at 115th Street and Nall. The Café, 30 W. Pershing Road, Kansas City, Mo., is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. through 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

 About Parisi Artisan Coffee

Parisi Artisan Coffee was founded in 2006 in Kansas City, Mo. by a longtime local Italian family who had established several successful artisan food companies under the parent company, Paris Brothers Inc. In addition to nearly 4,500 artisan foods imported, manufactured and distributed in Midwest retail and grocery stores, the company specializes in manufacturing artisan-style specialty coffee with a passion for Italian espressos. All Parisi coffees are small batch roasted using a unique roasting technique called drum roasting at the company’s Kansas City production facility off Southwest Boulevard near downtown. Parisi Artisan Coffee is available at Midwest regional food stores as well as served at fine Kansas City area restaurants.
