Art Fair, Family Fun Days, Concerts & More - This Weekend in the Power & Light District!


The Downtown Art Annual celebrates its 5th Year in the Kansas City Power & Light District this weekend!  Beginning Friday, May 18th, join us on 14th & Walnut Streets for three days of art from local, regional and national artists, all in a one-of-a-kind outdoor setting! Artistic media includes: watercolors, pottery, jewelry, glass, wood, photography, paintings and more! Come to check out the art, enjoy dinner at one of the amazing restaurants, listen to live music, shop at the boutiques and enjoy downtown Kansas City at its finest! Hours are: Fri (5-9pm), Sat (10am-8pm) and Sun (Noon-6pm).


Rodney Atkins headlines the 2012 Miller Lite Downtown Hoedown presented by Q104 on Saturday, May 19th at KC Live! Rodney's top hits include "Take A Back Road," "Farmer's Daughter" and more! The festival also features Gloriana, Dustin Lynch, Tyler Farr and Six Degrees West! FREE SHOW starts at 4pm. All ages before 9pm. Under 21 must be accompanied by legal guardian. 21+ after 9pm
