Biannual District Restaurant Week Immediately Follows City-Wide Event

The Kansas City Power & Light District hosts its sixth Restaurant Week from January 31 through February 6, 2011. Fourteen restaurants will participate in the event, which immediately follows the second annual city-wide Kansas City Restaurant Week.

District Restaurant Week is a biannual event that provides guests the opportunity to try a variety of District restaurants’ menus, all at lower price points to promote savings during a time of economic uncertainty.

Participating restaurants will offer:

• Lunch: Two-course meals priced at $10 - $15 for lunch
• Dinner: Three-course meals priced at $25 - $30 for dinner
• Dining Gifts: Every guest ordering the Restaurant Week meals will receive a complimentary gift card with each visit to use at a later date at the participating restaurant ($5 for lunch; $10 for dinner).

The semi-annual event was scheduled to conclude on Sunday, February 6th, 2011, but after receiving over 11 inches of snow, the 14 participating restaurants unanimously voted to extend their Restaurant Week specials until Wednesday, February 9th.
