Café Tempo at Johnson County Community College is lowering its prices and speeding up orders to better serve students, faculty and staff. Maintaining the same art-filled ambience, Café Tempo will offer a new menu with the soups, salads, panini sandwiches, hot and cold specials, plus tasty desserts. After placing their orders, café-goers will receive a pager to notify them when their order is ready. Students as well as other guests will be able to order and eat within 30 minutes. The tasteful contemporary café shares space between the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art and Regnier Center – 55 seats in the museum and 55 seats in the two-story glass atrium connecting the buildings. Café hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-10 a.m. breakfast, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. lunch, and 7 a.m.-3 p.m. coffee, pastries, desserts. The café will no longer be open Saturday.
