On Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6am-9am, Harrah’s North Kansas City Casino and Hotel will host Cars 4 Christmas as the Car Santa gives away approximately 20 vehicles to community families in need of transportation. The Caesars (formerly Harrah’s) Foundation will present the Car Santa and founder of Cars 4 Christmas, Terry Franz, with a charitable donation of $10,000. Harrah’s North Kansas City will provide breakfast for the families and volunteers.
Cars 4 Christmas is a not-for-profit organization that provides free basic transportation to disadvantaged individuals who are not able to obtain it on their own. They receive over 20,000 requests every year and give cars away all year long. http://www.cars4christmas.org/
